Your privacy.

What we collect, why we use it, and how to contact us about your information.

1. Who we are and what this covers

ODYSTRY LLC operates the ODYSTRY website and artist workspace at odystry.com. This policy covers information handled through our early-access website, artist accounts, release preparation and review, and support. Contact us at support@odystry.com about privacy questions or requests.

Streaming distribution, royalty payouts and live subscription checkout are not currently available. We will explain material changes to our information practices before introducing services that require different uses of your information.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, account identifiers, verification and account-recovery records, and artist or label profile details. Our authentication provider processes your password and sign-in information.
  • Release information: audio, artwork, titles, artist names, credits, identifiers, intended release dates, rights confirmations, review notes, status changes and release history that you submit.
  • Account activity: proposed plan preferences, notification settings, support messages and replies, and account-alert delivery records. Selected test accounts may also have sandbox billing identifiers and subscription status.
  • Technical information: our hosting, account and email providers may process IP addresses, browser/device information, timestamps and logs to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
  • Optional original-workspace sign-in: if you choose the older ChatGPT-connected workspace, we receive the account identity, name and email supplied through that sign-in. It is separate from your artist email/password account.

Please avoid putting passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or unrelated sensitive personal information in upload notes or support messages. Only provide information about other people that you are authorized to provide.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, store and display your releases, conduct internal review, keep review history, answer support requests, provide account notifications, remember preferences, and diagnose abuse or technical problems. Founder reviewers can access submitted releases and support requests to perform those tasks.

Uploading a song does not make it public or send it to streaming platforms. Current release review is internal. Release data is not used by this application to generate advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Providers and other disclosures

We use service providers for specific functions: OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, including Cloudflare, for the website and original workspace; Supabase for artist authentication, database and private file storage; Resend for account/support email; and Stripe for the founder’s sandbox billing tests. Browser-loaded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information associated with those requests. These providers also have their own privacy and security practices.

We share information with providers as needed to operate their functions. Email providers process recipient addresses and message content; submission receipts can include your release title and submission time. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or a rights dispute. We do not currently share uploaded songs with a distribution partner for store delivery.

5. Cookies and browser storage

The website uses cookies or browser storage needed for sign-in, account sessions, security and remembering a proposed plan during signup. Signing out ends the app session; disabling required storage can prevent sign-in or verification from working. Hosting and sign-in providers may also use their own necessary technologies.

The application currently has no advertising pixels or third-party analytics tracking added to its pages. If we introduce optional tracking, we will explain it and provide choices required by applicable law. We do not describe essential sign-in storage as optional advertising consent.

6. Your choices and requests

You can edit available account/release details and manage release and support email updates in Account settings. Those preferences are separate from verification, recovery, security and billing communications. Automatic release/support alerts are currently limited to selected test accounts.

Email support@odystry.com from your account address to request access to your information, a correction, an export, account closure or deletion. We may ask for proportionate identity verification before acting. Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent where relied on, or complain to a relevant privacy authority. We will explain any applicable limits when responding; we do not promise rights that depend on laws that do not apply.

7. Retention, Trash and deletion

We keep account information, uploaded files, support records and review/delivery history as needed to provide the workspace and operate its review, security and support functions. Moving a release to Trash is reversible and does not permanently delete the release or its files. Replacing a file does not automatically erase the older stored object.

Permanent deletion and account closure are handled by request, rather than an automatic Trash timer. We review requests and retain information only where needed for a continuing service purpose, applicable legal duties, security or a dispute. Provider logs and backup copies, where present, may remain until the relevant retention cycle expires. Contact us if you need a specific retention or deletion question answered before uploading.

8. Security and processing locations

Artist database/file access is controlled by account ownership rules. Uploaded media is stored privately and previews use time-limited access links. Authorized reviewers and service operators can access information for their work. These safeguards reduce risk but do not guarantee that every system or communication is free from security incidents.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Protections and legal requirements can differ between locations. We do not claim that ODYSTRY holds a particular privacy certification or that this policy alone satisfies every international requirement.

9. Children and updates

The preview is intended for adult artists and authorized business representatives, not children. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

We will date policy revisions and provide notice of material changes as appropriate. If a new purpose requires consent under applicable law, publishing a revised policy alone will not substitute for that consent.
